At Arcadia Farm, the care of our horses comes first. Each groom takes care of three to five horses. Our staff is knowledgeable, educated, and experienced in the safe handling and care of their horses. Our board includes full care and grooming of each horse. We have a daily rotation of turn out for our horses, six days a week.
Living on site allows Patty to keep a close eye on the barn around the clock. Most of the staff also live on the property, ensuring a continuity of care and attention.
Completing the care at Arcadia Farm are our expert farrier Ben Legge. The veterinary care is provided by New England Equine Practice, Miller Associates and Watermark Equine.
After winning the Jerry Johnson Cup three out of four times David retired the Cup, presented by Jennifer Glass to David and Lauren Habermann's New Recruit. David has continued to win two years in a row the Old Salem Farm Groom's Class with Jeanne Fogel's elegant Castelli.
